Registration ends 11/27/16

Winter League starts 12/1/16

Anyone interested in playing league hockey who is 18 years of age or older (USA Hockey). Open to skaters of all skill levels. All skaters should be familiar with the basics of the game, have basic hockey equipment and must be registered with USA Hockey ($45). League registration will be limited to 84 skaters and 6 goaltenders (6 teams). Cost to participate will be $229+tax per player ($245.03). Goaltenders play FREE, captains get a $100 discount

The league will consist of 6 teams. There will be 10 regular season games and up to 5 additional tournament/match-up games, depending on final playoff results. There will be a mid-season “match-up game” January 19th, with the match-ups being determined by standing. The minimum number of games a team could get to play is 14 (assuming no wins in final tournament). The maximum number of games a team could play would be 16, depending on results in the finals.

Teams Will Be Chosen Through an Open Serpentine Draft: (Hopefully 6 Teams)
All league participants will enter through the draft. In order to make the league as fair and competitive as possible, all participating players will be assigned a consensus rating of ability by the players themselves, the Team Captains and League Representatives.  After all participating players have been rated appropriately, the league Captains will begin a draft Monday, November 28th, and Final Team selections will be published Tuesday night, November 29th.

Back to skating school time.

We have a few new classes for our hockey and figure skating stars.

We are now an Official Member of Learn to Skate USA.  This new program is a group collarobration with USA Hockey, US Figure Skating, and USA Speed Skating.  It is developed to give all skaters regardless of which ice sport is their passion a strong foundation of skating skills.

We are very excited about the new classes we are offering to our skating community.

On Mondays we have added a Theatre on Ice Class for our littlest skating stars.  This class is open to skaters ages

4-6 who have passed through our Snowplow Sam 1-3 classes.  This class is all about music, performance, and acting.

To help bring power and strength to our more advanced figure skaters and to our youth hockey players we have added two classes on Tuesday afternoons.

Figure Skater will end their practice session with a Cardio Blast Class at 4:45-5:15 pm.  WE have a special price of $29.00 for McCall Figure Skating club members.  This classes is for Basic 6 and higher.

Youth Hockey Players can get their grove on with a pre-season Power Skate Class at 5:15-5:45 pm.  This class is 30 minutes of strength, endurance, and agility training.  Just the thing to get you ready for hockey season.  WE are offering  McCall Youth Hockey Members a special price of $39.00.

Also moved to Tuesday evenings is our Hockey 101 class.  This class is an old favorite but with a new day, new instructors and a new focus it should be feel like a brand new experience.

Come join the fun and Learn to skate!!

Classes Start Sept. 12 and 13, 2016.
